The event will take place on the island of Sardinia (an autonomous region of Italy) from 2 to 5 September. IFBT will organise the event with the support of Campeggio 4 Mori, and MSP Movimento Sportivo Popolare. This can be obtained in advance on the site https://www.ifbt.eu.

There are good reasons for choosing the island of Sardinia as the venue: perfect sports facilities, services, a beautiful beach and the good feeling of the players who have participated in the European Championships in recent years. IFBT has set the date in the first week of September, with the expectation that the situation with Covid-19 will improve further by then.

Pre-World Championships in Barcelona

From IFBT we want to give the opportunity for all athletes coming to Europe to participate in the World Championships to play an Open-1 Championship on the beaches of Castelldefels (Barcelona) the week before. The pre-event is hosted by the Catalan Federation and serves as preparation for the World Championships.
