The Finnish Workers’ Sports Federation TUL elected Lasse Mikkelsson as the organization’s new chairperson on June 16th 2019. Mikkelsson is the CEO/Rector of the Pajulahti Sports Institute. New Vice-Presidents are Henrik Nyholm and Anu Rajajärvi, who is also vice-president of CSIT. Other members of TUL’s Executive Committee are Pirjo Ailanto, Pekka Hahl, Tuomo Laine, Petteri Luokkala, Päivi Saarinen, Aira Ikonen, Harry Seidler and Tuija Vähänen-Koivuluoma.

TUL celebrated the organizations’ 100th anniversary with a big event weekend in Helsinki. In four days, TUL and member sport clubs organized over 20 sports events, TUL100 Theatre Gala, and the main event of the weekend and the whole jubilee year: Joukkojen juhla at Helsinki Ice Hall on 15 June.
