Hauer confirmed as FICEP President

Austrian Gerhard Hauer confirmed as President for another four years at the FICEP General Assembly

The international federation FICEP of Sportunion Austria elected its new executive committee for the next four years at the 2019 General Assembly in Linz (Austria). Gerhard Hauer has been President since 2011 and was unanimously re-elected for a third term of office for a further four years. FICEP celebrates its 110th anniversary in 2021.

In the near future, the priority will be to merge the two large Christian associations
FICEP (sports federations) and FISEC (Catholic schools). Together, the two federations have 26 nations with over ten million members. Among others in Brazil, India, Cameroon, Madagascar, Palestine or Jordan.

In 2019 the FICEP-FISEC Summer Games with ten sports will take place in Bucharest. 2020 (Duisburg), 2021 (Nice) and 2022 (Klagenfurt) are the next venues. In 2021 the Winter Games will be organised in the twin city of Linz in Brasov/Romania. Modern youth camps (this year in Duisburg) and the reunion at Polyspiele für die Jugend are the next organisational tasks.
