Two "Golden Plaques of Merit" and one “Medal of Honor” were awarded. Harald van Hest from the Netherlands (NCS) was chairman of the Technical Commission Swimming for many years, has accordingly gained a lot of experience and was personally awarded the "Golden Plaque of Merit of the CSIT" in Rome by President Bruno Molea for his activities in the sport of Swimming. The Finnish Markku Kosonen (TUL) received the "Golden Plaque of Merit" for his services in Chess and Ole Juhl from Denmark (DAI), already holder of the Golden Plaque of Merit, received the "Honorary Medal" for his many years of commitment in CSIT Tennis. Another Congress highlight was the “Panathlon WSG Award 2021” in the name of its President Pierre Zappelli. After several comparisons the board of PI decided to award the candidate from the “Hapoel Sport Association” Mr. Avi Sagi. Congratulations!
