MundialEU comes to an end

Over the last three days CSIT, together with the project participants from Slovakia (Slovak Sports Organisation), Croatia (Health Life Academy) and Italy (AICS) have discussed and finalized the guidelines for the organizers of inclusive events for migrants and locals. After all, the teams visited MundiaLido, an intercultural football tournament for migrants living in Italy. The participants of MundialEU had a chance to actively participate and to be involved in such event. As highlight, they could present the project to the representatives of the municipality, the MundiaLido organizers, and, of course, all the delegations.

The main aim of the project was to create an easy roadmap to be referred to in the organization and implementation process, following such points:

• Involving migrants in the organizers' country
• Promoting interaction between migrants and locals
• Required skills for the organizers, staff and management
• Sports and cultural activities
• Resources
• Online and offline communication

The finalised guidelines will then be posted and shared with the big public for everyone to take use of them and create the inclusive events to welcome migrants, let them share their cultural background and make their integration process easier by doing sport and having fun together.
